Making Joomla more SEO

www.basholzhaustekst.nl, a Joomla site we enabled a while back for copywriter Bas Holzhaus, has been modified to be better Optimized for Search Engines (SEO). We've added the options to modify article and page titles, a custom read more button per article, the ability to add custom contact pages etc.

Bas Holzhaus is doing his best to score better in search engine with some keywords. We help him making the desired changes possible.

If you want to score well in Google, it won't come easy. You'll have to invest a certain amount of time of your week to optimize your possibilities.

One of the things you can do is add relevant content to your site on a regular basis. Create titles of your pages / articles that describe your content well and that include keywords. Get links to your site from respected other websites.

If you're doing this, you'll see it will pay off.

You can't expect to become the first result with general keywords, but you can sure try!

If your site isn't Search Engine Optimized, let us have a look at it and propose some changes. Obviously, it has to be easy for you as owner of a website to make the modifications to score better in the serach results. You don't want to be thinking about scripting languages as well, SEO is difficult enough as it is.

You don't need to hire a company that will try to trick Google to position you better in their search results. It might work for a while, but you might get punished for it too as soon as Google finds out. Just work on your website and provide good content. It might take a while, but you will be rewarded eventually.
